RAFI's compact push-button family has a rugged one-piece design that simplifies and reduces installation time. With a mounting depth of only 18.2 mm, the Lumotast 16 series switch space-saving design enables users to design slim, more compact housings for their end products. Available in push-button and illuminated push-button with insertable legends and bezels, the Lumotast 16 series is flexible to allow customers to customize the look of the panel while fitting into a standard 16.2 mm mounting hole.

The switch is ideal for demanding applications including transportation, measurement control-regulation, chemical processing, handheld control devices, security, and industrial machinery. The switch is sealed to IP67 rating and capable of 500K life cycles. The panel mounted switch utilizes RAFI's Micon 5 tactile switches as the core switching element, allowing advanced haptics in a very small package, improving the user's experience.

The LUMOTAST 16 is available with the RAFI C-Lab actuators, enabling design flexibility and customization. With the C-LAB option, the lenses are easily removable to insert custom labels and legends. The Bezel is also removable so that customer's can easily change bezels finish and color to customize the appearance to the customers preference. The parts are interchangeable, allowing standardization of the base switch and any unique color combinations.
