ATPOWERDEBUGGER Power Debugger Kit
Microchip Technology Atmel ATPOWERDEBUGGER Power Debugger Kit is a development tool for debugging and programming AVR and Smart Arm-based microcontrollers. The tool works on AVR microcontrollers using UPDI, JTAG, PDI, debugWIRE, aWire, TPI or SPI target interfaces. The debugger also works on SAM microcontrollers using JTAG or SWD target interfaces. The device has two independent current-sensing channels for measuring and optimizing the power consumption of a design. The debugger includes a CDC virtual COM port interface in addition to Atmel Data Gateway Interface channels. This enables streaming application data to the host computer from an SPI, USART, TWI, or GPIO source. The device is a CMSIS-DAP compatible debugger and works with Studio 7.0 or later, or other front-end software capable of connecting to a generic CMSIS-DAP unit. 
ATmega1609 8-bit Microcontroller
Microchip Technology ATmega1609 8-bit Microcontrollers are based on the 8-bit AVR®  Processor, with a hardware multiplier running at up to 20MHz. The ATmega1609 MCUs feature up to 16KB Flash, 2KB SRAM, and 256 bytes of EEPROM. The On-chip Flash allows the program memory to be reprogrammed in-system through an SPI serial interface, by a conventional nonvolatile memory programmer, or by an On-chip Boot program running on the AVR core. The AVR core offers a flexible, low-power architecture including Event System and Sleepwalking, accurate Analog features, and Advanced Peripherals. 
AVR-IoT WG Evaluation Board (AC164160)
Microchip Technology AVR-IoT WG Evaluation Board (AC164160) is designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of AVR MCUs in IoT sensor node solutions. This evaluation board implements the divide and conquer approach by using smart modules to reduce the burden of complex algorithm implementation by the MCU. The AVR-IoT WG Evaluation Board uses smart modules including the ATECC608A cryptographic coprocessor chip, ATMEGA4808 MCU, and ATWINC1500 SmartConnect IoT module. Rapid development tools including START and MCC can be used with the AC164160 eval board for plug and play functionality.
