AVR® 32-Bit UC3 Microcontrollers: Microchip 32-bit AVR® UC3 takes efficiency to a new level, going beyond high performance and low power consumption. Native fixed point DSP support, dual port SRAM, multi layer data bus, peripheral DMA controller, peripheral event system and intelligent peripherals move performance and power consumption to the next step. The peripheral DMA controller and multi-layer high-speed bus architecture make the UC3 microcontrollers ideal for high throughput applications. Intelligent peripherals and dynamic power control make UC3 devices the obvious choice for portable and battery-powered applications. Selected UC3 devices include an integrated Floating Point Unit (FPU) which improves arithmetic performance on decimal numbers, with better precision and wider dynamic range.

AT32UC3L AVR®32 Microcontrollers: Microchip AT32UC3L AVR®32 Microcontroller is a low power 32-bit MCU, featuring less than 0.48 mW/MHz in active mode executing real-life applications. The Microchip AT32UC3L 32-bit MCU features a built-in capacitive touch interface that makes the device suitable for a wide range of embedded applications. This Microchip AVR32 MCU family features picoPower technology that allows it to operate on less than 1.5µA with the 32KHz Real Time Clock active and below 100nA with all oscillators stopped. The AT32UC3L features 1.6V technology, which keeps the MCU fully operational in systems with a supply voltage ranging from 1.62 to 3.60V. The AT32UC3L also provides secure memory and a peripheral event system that eliminates interrupts processing.

L-Series AT32UC3 AVR 32-Bit MCUs: Microchip Technology L-Series AT32UC3 AVR 32-Bit MCUs are Microchip's first picoPower® 32-bit microcontrollers, and offer a wide range of innovative technical features. The series is ideal for battery-powered, portable consumer applications, board controller, game pads, remote controls, and human interface devices. The AVR® UC3 L Series runs on 165 µA/MHz in active mode, 600 nA with RTC running, and down to 9 nA with all clocks stopped. The UC3L features a built-in capacitive touch module supporting 17 channels in hardware, and each channel can be configured as buttons, sliders and wheels. The glue logic controller contains programmable logic and lookup tables that can be connected to GPIO pins, which can reduce the amount of external components. To safeguard sensitive data, FlashVault™ code protection enables on-chip flash to be partially programmed and locked, for secure on-chip storage of software intellectual property. FlashVault™ code protection can carry software such as a math library or an encryption algorithm to potentially untrustworthy environments where the rest of the source code can be developed and debugged.

picoPower® Microcontrollers: Microchip picoPower® 8- and 32-bit low, high-performance Microcontrollers (MCUs) meet the tough requirements for portable and battery-operated applications. Microchip picoPower technology is found in the tinyAVR®, megaAVR®, AVR®, XMEGA™, and AVR UC3 MCUs. Microchip picoPower technology enables AVR MCUs to operate at the industry's lowest power consumption with 650 nA with an RTC running and 100 nA in Power Down sleep.
