These TI MSP430F5™ MCUs include new and innovative peripherals on chips that feature more memory and integrated capabilities and use less power than ever before.The MSP430F5 family features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that contribute to maximum code efficiency. These MCUs include a high-performance 12-bit ADC, up to four universal serial communication interfaces, hardware multiplier, DMA, real time clock module with alarm capabilities, and up to 87 I/O pins.
