ISL78227 2-Phase Boost Controllers
Renesas / Intersil ISL78227 2-Phase Boost Controllers simplify the design of high power boost applications. These controllers integrate strong half-bridge drivers, an analog/digital tracking input, and comprehensive protection functions. The ISL78227 controllers enable a simple, modular design for systems requiring power and thermal scalability. These 55V controllers are AEC-Q100 Grade-1 qualified and provide peak control mode control with adjustable slope compensation. These controllers operate at 50kHz to 1.1MHz switching frequency and feature programmable adaptive dead time control and minimum duty cycle. Other features include pulse width modulation (PWM) and analog track function, optional diode emulation and phase dropping, and external synchronization. Applications include industrial and telecommunication power supplies, and automotive power system.
