MPM Power Modules
MPS MPM Power Modules, available in single or dual channel, are integrated DC/DC solutions with excellent load and line regulation. These step-down DC-DC converters feature built-in internal power MOSFETs and power inductors. The Constant-On-Time (COT) control scheme provides a fast transient response, high light-load efficiency, and easy loop stabilization. These modules require a minimum number of readily-available standard external components, simplifying power system design. They also have a small surface-mount footprint, due to their compact QFN package. All MPS parts are lead-free, halogen-free, and adhere to the RoHS directive.
Monolithic Power Systems MPM3805 Step-Down Converter
Monolithic Power Systems MPM3805 6V Input, 0.6A Module Synchronous Step-Down Converter with Integrated Inductor simplifies power system design. The DC-DC module is available in a small surface mount QFN-12 (2.5mm x 3.0mm x 0.9mm) package and achieves 0.6A continuous output current from a 2.5V to 6V input voltage with excellent load and line regulation. MPM3805's output voltage is regulated as low as 0.6V. For adjustable output, designers only need FB resistors and input and output capacitors to complete the design. The constant-on-time control (COT) scheme delivers a fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Fault condition protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown (TSD). The MPM3805 is ideal for a wide range of applications including high performance DSPs, FPGAs, PDAs, portable instruments, and storage.Learn More
