SIC4x microBUCK™ Integrated Buck Regulators: Vishay Siliconix SiC4xx microBUCK™ Integrated Buck Regulators are a family of products that leverage Vishay's unique combination of discrete MOSFET design, IC expertise, and packaging capability to provide customers with cost-effective, high-performance integrated solutions. The resulting integrated solutions deliver a significant reduction in board space requirements. This benefits the designer by giving more space for critical system functionality. Typical applications include notebook, desktop, and server computers, digital HDTV, digital consumer applications, printers, DSL, and STB applications, embedded applications and point of load power supplies.

SiC403 & SiC414/SiC424 6A Buck Regulators: Vishay/Siliconix SiC403 & SiC414/SiC424 6A Buck Regulators feature integrated power MOSFETs, bootstrap switch, and a programmable LDO (SiC403) or an internal 5V LDO (SiC414 & SiC424). These microBUCK™ regulators are offered in a space-saving MLPQ 5 x 5 - 32 (SiC403) or PowerPAK (MLP44-28L) package. The SiC403 & SiC414/SiC424 buck regulators are capable of operating with all ceramic solutions and switching frequencies up to 1MHz. The programmable frequency, synchronous operation, and selectable power-save allow operation at high efficiency across the full range of load current. The internal LDO may be used to supply 5V for the gate drive circuits or it may be bypassed with an external 5V for optimum efficiency and used to drive external n-channel MOSFETs or other loads.
