NCP81245 3-Rail Output Controller
ON Semiconductor NCP81245 3-Rail Output Controller provides an optimized (3+3+1 phase) three-output buck solution for Intel IMVP8 compatible CPUs. The device's two multi-phase rail control systems combine Dual-Edge pulse-width modulation (PWM) and DCR current sensing. The design offers an ultra-fast initial response to dynamic load events. Designers can use the single-phase controller for SA or GTUS rails. NCP81245's single-phase rail features the patented high-performance RPM operation. The RPM control maximizes transient response while ensuring smooth transitions between discontinuous-frequency scaling and continuous-mode, full-power operation. NCP81245's single-phase rail includes a programmable ultra-low offset current monitor amplifier for high-accuracy current monitoring.Learn More
