The input voltage range 0.9-5.0 implies that this module should work from a single Ni=MH battery. Well, it's useless for that purpose. With 0.9-1.3V input, the output current is miniscule, like 0.02-0.03A. You can charge nothing with that. It should be powered from Li-Ion battery to get something useful from it.
