Wireless Battery Charging Solutions for Wearables: STMicroelectronics Wireless Battery Charging Solutions for ultracompact wearable gear are built with the STWBC-WA transmitter controller, and the STWLC04 wireless power receiver. The chip-set enable building charging solutions ideal for applications in smart watches, medical sensors and fitness bands. The STWBC-WA and STWLC04 based solution supports wireless power transfer of 1 Watt using a tiny 11mm coil on the receiver side and a 20mm on the transmitter side. A set of evaluation kits, based on proven design implementations, are provided to help reduce time to market.
