The FDMS2D4N03S has been designed to minimize losses in power conversion application. Advancements in both silicon and package technologies have been combined to offer the lowest rDS(on) while maintaining excellent switching performance. This device has the added benefit of an efficient monolithic schottky body diode.
N-Channel PowerTrench® SyncFET™ MOSFETs
ON Semiconductor N-Channel PowerTrench® SyncFET™ MOSFETs are designed to minimize losses in power conversion applications and minimize the on-state resistance. The N-Channel PowerTrench® SyncFET™ MOSFETs use a silicon technology to dramatically improve performance and reduce overall system cost. With an integrated Schottky diode, these N-Channel PowerTrench® SyncFET™ MOSFETs offer similar performance (high power and current handling) of a separate MOSFET and Schottky rectifier in one package. This integration reduces space by as much as 50% and provides cost savings and manufacturing through-put (or "time") savings. Applications can include notebooks, servers, telecom, DC-DC buck converters, high efficiency DC-DC switch mode power supplies and synchronous rectifier for DC-DC converters.Learn More
