STLQ50 BiCMOS Linear Regulator - New at Mouser: STMicroelectronics STLQ50 BiCMOS linear regulator is specifically designed for operating in environments with very low power consumption constraints. The very low quiescent current (3µA) of this STMicroelectronics linear regulator makes it suitable for applications that have very long stand-by time, allowing extension of battery life. The STLQ50 also features a P-MOS pass element that allows a very good dropout figure (200mV at 25mA Iout and 350mV at full load) without affecting the consumption characteristics. The STLQ50 linear regulator is housed in an SC-70 or SOT23-5L package that fulfills space-saving requirements in battery powered equipment.

Low Quiescent Current LDO Linear Regulators: STMicroelectronics Low Quiescent Current LDO Linear Regulators are optimized to operate with a drastically low quiescent current (IQ). The IQ is lower than or comparable to the average load current it supplies. This feature is necessary for power-budgeted applications, like battery-powered devices or green-compliant equipment with a long standby operation. This extends battery life and reduces the overall power consumption.

Low Dropout (LDO) Regulators: STMicroelectronics Low Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulators are a cost-effective way to deliver a stable and regulated output voltage. The LDOs simplify designs with few external components. Low-dropout linear regulators (LDOs) provide the best cost-performance tradeoff.
