VersaClock® Programmable Clock ICs
IDT VersaClock® Programmable Clock ICs are designed to simplify system design by replacing multiple discrete timing components. These programmable clock ICs feature 1.8V to 3.3V operating voltage, differential and LVCMOS output types, multiple fractional dividers, and up to 3 Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs). The VersaClock programmable clock ICs offer a combination of flexibility, low power consumption, and performance to simplify system design. These programmable clock ICs can lower costs by reducing Bill Of Materials (BOM) and board space. The VersaClock programmable ICs are ideal for consumer, telecommunications, data communications, and networking applications.
VersaClock® 6E 5P49V60
IDT VersaClock® 6E 5P49V60 are high-performance programmable clock generators designed for automotive applications. These 5P49V60 clock generators feature four banks of internal OTP memory, I2C interface, LVCMOS reference clock, redundant clock inputs, and four universal output pairs. The frequencies are generated from a single reference clock which can come from one of the two redundant clock inputs. The selection of one of the redundant clocks during normal operation is made possible by the glitchless manual switchover function. The 5P49V60 clock generators also have two select pins which allow up to four configurations to be programmed and are accessible using processor GPIOs or bootstrapping. These 5P49V60 clock generators can be configured to use one of the two I2C addresses to connect multiple devices that can be used in a system. Typical applications include automotive infotainment, dashboard systems, audio/video applications, camera, PCI Express 1.0/2.0/3.0, active antennas, and in-vehicle networking.
