***rchild Semiconductor: The RHRP15120 is a hyperfast diode with soft recovery characteristics. It has the half recovery time of ultrafast diodes and is silicon nitride passivated ionimplanted epitaxial planar construction. These devices are intended to be used as freewheeling/ clamping diodes and diodes in a variety of switching power supplies and other power switching applications. Their low stored charge and hyperfast soft recovery minimize ringing and electrical noise in many power switching circuits reducing power loss in the switching transistors.

RHRP15120 15A Hyperfast Diodes: ON Semiconductor RHRP15120 15A Hyperfast Diodes offer soft recovery characteristics and half of the recovery time of ultrafast diodes. These hyperfast diodes are silicon nitride passivated, ion implanted, and epitaxial planar construction type. The RHRP15120 are ideal to be used as freewheeling/ clamping diodes and other power switching applications. These 15A recovery hyperfast diodes offer 3.2V maximum forward voltage, 1200V of reverse voltage, and high reliability. Typical applications are switching power supplies, power switching circuits, and other general purposes. The RHRP15120 hyperfast diodes are RoHS compliant and are available in a TO-220AC package.
