USB58/USB59 USB3.1 Gen1 SmartHub Devices
Microchip Technology USB58/USB59 series features 6/7-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen1 SmartHub Controllers for USB Type-C™ applications. The USB58/USB59 devices integrate a 2:1 multiplexer to support a reversible connection of USB Type-C™. The devices also support full-speed (FS) and low-speed (LS) USB signaling for coverage of all defined USB operating speeds. The SuperSpeed hubs operate in parallel with the USB 2.0 controller to ensure 5Gbps SuperSpeed data transfers are not affected by slower USB 2.0 traffic.
