Littelfuse P-0S1-LRP Voice-DS1 SIDACtor® SMA Protection Thyristors are designed to protect baseband equipment such as phones, faxes, modems, line cards, CPE, and DSL from damaging overvoltage transients. The components provide a surface mount solution that enables equipment to comply with global regulatory standards. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The SMA thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, low capacitance, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. The components are RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
SMA Series SIDACs - EXPANSION
Littelfuse expanded its Littelfuse SIDACtor Baseband Protection Thyristors product line to include the low profile SMA Series. The SMA Series features excellent surge rating, low voltage overshoot, and low capacitance with a smaller SMA package. SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices designed to protect telecom equipment during hazardous transient conditions. Utilizing a patented ion implant technology, effective protection is ensured within nanoseconds. The components offer an overvoltage protection solution that helps applications comply with Telcordia GR-1089 Issue 4, ITU-T recommendations K.20, K.21, K.44, and K.45, and TIA-968-A.
SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors
Littelfuse SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are thyristor devices used to protect sensitive circuits from electrical disturbances caused by lightning-induced surges, inductive-coupled spikes, and AC power fault conditions.
