Analog Devices ADuM230E Triple-Channel Digital Isolators are based on iCoupler® technology and offer performance characteristics superior to alternatives including optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. ADuM230E isolators ensure dc correctness in the absence of input logic transitions. Designers can choose from two different fail-safe options that allow the outputs to transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled. ADuM230E isolators provide a maximum propagation delay of 13ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3ns at 5V operation. The data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.0kVrms. Channel matching is tight at 3.0ns maximum. The ADuM230E isolators operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8V to 5V, allowing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.Learn More
