This is an FT232RL clone. Which should be obvious from the price - FTDI sells The FT232RL chips for $3 USD in quantity, so there's no way to build them into a product for $1.85. (The laser etched part number on the top of the chips is also poorly done.)But FTDI's prices are stupidly high, and the clones have gotten really good. I tested all three of these on MacOS and Windows and they work fine even at 115200 baud.It does bother me that they're selling a clone without saying that it's a clone. It's a good clone, at a great price, but it's still a clone.
