This sensor works really well. The sensor reads between ~ 2.5 V (dry) to 0.9 V (wet). It consumes about 5 mA current continuously, so if you use this on batteries, keep this in mind. The electronic components are not protected from water. They are soldered on quite well. The provided cable is a bit short. I am very satisfied, this is good value.
