SMLJ Series TVS Diodes: Bourns SMLJ Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes areoffered for surge and ESD protection applications in compact chippackage DO-214AB (SMC) size format to meet the increasing demand forsmaller electronic components. The SMJL TVS series provides a workingpeak reverse voltage from 5V up to 170V and breakdown voltage up to200V. Typical fast response time is less than 1.0 ns for unidirectionaldevices and less than 5.0 ns for bidirectional devices from 0V tominimum breakdown voltage. Designed with a flat configuration tominimize roll away, Bourns Chip Diodes are easy to handle with standardpick-and-place equipment. Compliant with JEDEC standards, the SMLJ TVSDiodes are well-suited for IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Min. Level 4), IEC61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 Surge applications.Learn More

TVS Diodes: Bourns surface mount TVS diodes are low capacitance devices that provide ESD, EFT, and surge protection for external ports of electronic devices such as cellular phones, handheld electronics and other portable electronic devices. Bourns TVS Diodes include smaller chip diodes that have the capability to provide a silicon diode with minimal packaging overhead. The chip diodes 0603, 1005, 1408, and 2010 are leadless, allowing for maximum space on PCB layouts. All Bourns diodes are RoHS compliant and meet many worldwide industry and government regulations on lead free components. TVS package diode design kits are also available from Bourns.
