Works well. I saw a comment that these are "not real level shifters". It uses a clever MOSFET approach, which means this is relatively cheap. You use the correct voltage input and get the correct voltage output. So no idea what the comment actually meant by "real level shifter" other than it's not implemented on an IC and costs more money.
