Power Management ICs: TPS65058: OMO Electronic' TPS65058 Five-Channel Power Management ICs feature two high-efficiency 2.25MHz step-down converters that provide core voltage and I/O voltage in a processor-based system. The step-down converters enter a low power mode at light load for maximum efficiency across the wide range of possible load currents. The device integrates one 400mA LDO and two 200mA LDO voltage regulators that can be turned on and off using separate enable pins on each LDO. Each LDO operates with an input voltage range of 1.5V to 6.5V, allowing them to be supplied from one of the step-down converters or directly from the main battery. The product is ideal for applications powered by one Li-Ion or Li-Polymer cell that require multiple power rails.
