ADuM230D/E and ADuM231D/E Isolators
Analog Devices ADuM230D/E/ and ADuM231D/E Triple Channel Digital Isolators combine high-speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology to provide outstanding performance characteristics. The maximum propagation delay is 13ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3ns at 5V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0ns maximum. The data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.0kVrms. The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8V to 5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. DC correctness is ensured in the absence of input logic transitions. Two different fail-safe options are available, by which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled.Learn More

These iCoupler isolators feature high-speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology and an on-off-keying (OOK) architecture. The isolators offer outstanding performance and proven galvanic isolation. To protect data signals, these iCoupler digital isolators provide the industry's highest surge protection of 16kVpk and withstand voltage ratings up to 5kVrms. For additional surge protection, the isolators have a 10KV reinforced surge rating. To support high speed communications and data integrity, the isolators have 150Mbps throughput, 14ns max. propagation delay, and 100kV/µs transient immunity.
