MP2229 Step-Down Converter: Monolithic Power Systems MP2229 step-down converter is a high-frequency synchronous rectified step-down switch-mode converter with internal power MOSFETs. The MP2229 offers 6A continuous output current in a compact package. The MP2229 features excellent load and line regulation, and synchronous-mode operation for higher efficiency over the output current load range. Current-mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Protection features include over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD). The MP2229 needs a minimal number of external components, and is available in a QFN-14. Learn More
