HI-4853H High Operating Temperature Transceivers

Holt Integrated Circuits' HI-4853H transceivers are capable of data rates up to 20 Mbps and offer extended power supply range of 3.15 V to 5.5 V, controlled slew rate, and a wide common mode voltage range (-12 V to +15 V for half-duplex, ±20 V for full-duplex). Each device delivers at least ±1.50 V and ±2.00 V output drive at worst-case supply voltages of 3.15 V and 4.5 V respectively, over an extended temperature range of -55°C to +200°C into a differential load of 54 Ω and 50 pF.

The receiver offers true Fail-Safe operation, providing a guaranteed logic high output when the bus is open-circuit, short-circuit, or idle (terminated but not driven). The receiver's worst-case minimum input resistance is at least 70 kΩ at 200°C.

The HI-4853H operates half-duplex, whereas the HI 4854H and HI-4855H provide full-duplex operation.
